Seattle Fashion Week 2010: (R)evolution
There is a unique flair around Seattle Fashion Week – it stands out among the others as forward-thinking and designed to introduce independent designers to the National fashion spotlight. Sure, it may not draw in the designing company of Diane Von Furstenberg or Donna Karan, or the celebrity attendance of Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria – but it will draw in someone even better. You, me and several thousands of other public attendees.
Seattle Fashion Week, which commences May 8 and runs through May 15, is unlike the other fashion-week counterparts in Los Angeles and New York, and is open to the general public. Be one of few to witness Seattle’s presence among the elite list of internationally recognized fashion weeks and give local designers the much needed exposure to catapult their careers.
Tickets are on sale now for events taking place at the Wamu Theater and Ibiza. And in the meantime, keep an eye on the Seattle Fashion Week Facebook page and Twitter (@SFWtweets) – more exciting announcements are expected to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
